Hello!

Hi, I'm Seneca.

At my core, I’m a dog trainer, but my work goes far beyond teaching dogs how to sit, stay, or walk nicely on a leash.

I’ve never been someone who stays in one place for too long. Growth has always required movement for me. I’m constantly learning, questioning, and evolving, and that curiosity has shaped both the person I am and the trainer I’ve become.

Dogs have been my greatest teachers.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the relationships I’ve built. Many of the families I work with have been with me since the very beginning. That trust has been earned through showing up, continuing to learn, and never believing I’ve reached the finish line.

Working with dogs, and doing the work on myself, has taught me that behavior is only one small piece of the story. Beneath every behavior is a nervous system, an environment, a relationship, and an individual experience worth understanding. It has also given me the confidence to trust my observations, strengthen my discernment, and stay curious about what isn’t being said.

My approach is rooted in trust, regulation, and connection. Rather than asking, “How do we stop this behavior?” I’m more interested in asking, “What is this behavior trying to tell us?”

One of the greatest lessons dogs have taught me is that we don’t get to decide what is hard for someone else. Every dog has a different threshold. Every person has a different threshold. My role isn’t to push either of you beyond your capacity. It’s to help you build confidence, safety, and resilience from where you are.

As humans, we’ll have human experiences. As dogs, they’ll have canine experiences. My role isn’t to change who either of you are. It’s to help you better understand one another so you can build a life where both of you can thrive.

The Intuitive Good Dog Company is growing beyond traditional dog training into a space rooted in trust, regulation and connection. My work brings together intuitive dog training, nervous system support and animal communication to better understand both the dog and the human at the other end of the leash.

Alongside practical training and virtual support, I am expanding into more holistic offerings for dogs and their people— including guidance through fear, trauma, veterinary care, surgery, aging and other difficult transitions. This next chapter is about looking at the whole relationship and creating support that feels compassionate, ethical and deeply individual.

Our Story
Who we are…

We’re the team behind The Intuitive Good Dog Company. I’m Grateful to have my husband, Brysen, and our pack.

Every dog I’ve had the privilege of knowing has shaped the trainer I am today, but these three are where it all began.

Millie (11) • Miniature Dachshund
Millie was our first dog together and the beginning of a life centered around dogs. Tiny but mighty, she taught me that every dog is an individual with their own personality, needs, and way of moving through the world.

Jax (10) • Blue Heeler
Jax changed the course of my career. He introduced me to balanced training and taught me the importance of clear communication, structure, and accountability. But he also challenged me to keep asking questions. The more I understood him, the more I realized behavior wasn’t the whole story. He inspired me to look beyond behavior and into the nervous system, helping shape the philosophy that guides my work today.

Gemma (9) • Labrador Mix
Our calm in our storm. Gentle, grounding, and endlessly patient, Gemma reminds us every day that trust, safety, and connection create the strongest foundation for both dogs and humans.

These three are my original pack, my greatest teachers, and the heart behind The Intuitive Good Dog Company.

…and yes, the pack has grown a little since then. There are a few more furry coworkers working behind the scenes, and I’m sure you’ll meet them soon enough.
